| My brother has a residence 6 km from Maintenon and I was staying with him but he did not arrive until the next day so needed a place close by for a night. The staff was so nice and helpful, the public areas were very pleasant, the gardens lovely and peaceful. The kitty cat reminded me of home!! My only comment was that our room had so many little decorations on tables, shelves, etc. that it was hard to find a place to put personal belongings. The beds were very comfortable and inviting. Quiet sleeping, Just too much clutter in our room...charming but cluttered. We had a blue and yellow room.......Breakfast room adorable but again, too many "things" on the table to be comfortable. Breakfast was good. There was work being done on the B&B so workmen were around. But all in all....very nice. Photo on website is of room much more plain than ours! |
