Reviews should:
- Be honest. We want to hear your truthful opinion and your own, original thoughts.
- Be objective. Reviews should not refer or respond to other reviews and should not include comments from what you have heard.
- Stay on topic. Keep your comments focused on your experience with this hotel.
- Provide specific examples and detail.
- Provide reasoning for your arguments. What you liked or disliked, and why?
- Consider these questions (in writing your review):
- Overall, how was your stay?
- Were the amenities sufficient?
- How were the staff and the customer service?
- What you liked/disliked about the hotel? Why?
- Did it meet your expectations? Why or why not?
- Was there anything that could have made your stay better?
- Make sure you state the correct hotel name. Many hotels have similar names e.g. Sydney Hotel and Sydney Harbour Hotel. Make sure you're writing about the one you stayed at.
- Recommended length 200-400 words

Reviews that contain the following will not be approved:
- Any personal information (i.e. Telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, credit card numbers)
- Plagiarized material from other sources (material that is copied or infringes other's material, trademarks or intellectual property)
- Commercial content: spam, promotional material, advertising and links.
- Profanity, offensive or inflammatory language.
- Reviews that harass, abuse, threaten another's personal safety or property, make false statements, defame, and impersonate someone else, contain sexually explicit, illegal or objectionable content
- The Hotel Rating and Review system is for customers only. Hotel properties are not allowed to post reviews about themselves or other hotels.
